Job summary

Otsuka America Pharmaceutical, Inc. seeks an experienced Medical Science Liaison (Sr Manager) in CNS to advance scientific exchange within a local ecosystem model.

You will partner with healthcare providers, patient groups and internal teams to optimize patient care and knowledge transfer across territories. You will lead therapeutic discussions, support trials and health-economic insights while traveling up to 70% of the time in the United States.

Qualifications

• MD/DO, PharmD or PhD in life sciences; or Master’s with equivalent psychiatry/CNS experience.
• Minimum 2 years of pharmaceutical medical affairs or relevant work experience.
• Strong understanding of health systems and patient care delivery; ability to work with healthcare professionals and decision-makers.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and conflict-resolution skills; capable of leading cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of industry regulatory and compliance landscape; comfortable with ambiguous environments and travel up to 70%.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical, scientific and health-economic information for CNS products within the ecosystem.
• Develop and execute local medical strategies in collaboration with ecosystem partners.
• Engage Key Influencers, Local Practice Leaders, and patient groups to improve patient outcomes.
• Deliver medical training and contribute to speaker bureau activities as needed.
• Support clinical trials operations and real-world evidence initiatives.
• Partner with safety, training, and field medical teams to share best practices.
