You will deliver clinical, economic, and health technology insights within an ecosystem-driven model that prioritizes patient outcomes and coordinated care. The role requires building external relationships, leading knowledge sharing, and supporting trials and payer discussions while traveling up to 70% of the time.

Qualifications

• MD/DO, PharmD or PhD in life sciences or Master’s degree with equivalent psychiatry or CNS clinical experience.
• Minimum 2 years of pharmaceutical medical affairs or relevant work experience.
• Understanding of health systems and delivery of patient care.
• Strong business acumen; knows Otsuka’s model and value proposition.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; cross-functional work.
• Ability to lead others and project teams strategically.
• Knowledge of industry legal, regulatory, and compliance landscape.
• Ability to work in an environment undergoing transformation.

Responsibilities

• As part of the ecosystem team, provide clinical and scientific perspectives to execution plans.
• Develop external relationships with key scientific and medical customers and organizations.
• Maintain deep understanding of ecosystem to align with patient-centric strategy.
• Serve as a credible source of evidence-based information across clinical, economic, and humanistic perspectives.
• Build internal relationships to enable enterprise approach in customer engagement.
• Disseminate disease state and healthcare landscape information to field customers.
• Provide clinical and data-focused training for speakers and colleagues.
• May participate in speaker bureau for product education across territory.
• Collect medical insights to drive evidence generation and decision making.
• Support clinical trials program and health economics research as needed.
• Mentor peers and support cross-functional development.
