Job summary

Otsuka America Pharmaceutical, Inc. seeks an experienced Medical Science Liaison (Sr Manager) to support CNS programs within a local ecosystem.

You will deliver clinical and economic data to KIs, LPLs and healthcare providers, shaping regional medical strategies and collaborating across matrix teams to improve patient outcomes. The role requires deep CNS knowledge, 2+ years in Medical Affairs, and strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• MD/DO, PharmD or PhD in life sciences required.
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience in pharmaceutical industry Medical Affairs.
• Previous training or experience in CNS disease preferred.
• Strong business acumen with knowledge of Otsuka's business and competitive landscape.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and cross-functional teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Contribute clinical and scientific perspectives to local execution plans to improve patient care.
• Build relationships with key scientific and medical customers and organizations within territory.
• Deliver evidence-based information on clinical, economic, and humanistic value of products.
• Mentor peers and support cross-functional teams and field medical activities.
• Assist with clinical trials programs and health economics studies as needed.
