Job summary

Diabetes & Endocrine Specialists in La Jolla and La Mesa seeks a senior Practice Administrator to lead the business, financial, operations, and personnel outcomes of the practice. This role partners with the Physician Owner and oversees all non-clinical operations.

You will manage multi-site daily operations, drive patient access and satisfaction, and supervise clinical and admin staff while monitoring budgets and performance metrics across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field.
• Five or more years of healthcare management experience.
• Experience managing multi-site operations and supervising teams.
• Strong knowledge of revenue cycle management and staff leadership.
• Proficiency with EHR, practice management systems, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across multiple clinic locations to ensure efficient workflows.
• Monitor patient satisfaction and address concerns to support an exceptional patient experience.
• Recruit, onboard, train, supervise, and develop staff.
• Provide performance coaching, feedback, and support employee development.
• Foster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented work environment.
• Track budgets and monitor financial performance, labor costs, and operational metrics.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and support practice profitability.
• Oversee revenue cycle performance, including billing, collections, denials, accounts receivable, and reimbursement trends.
• Monitor key performance indicators and implement process improvements as needed.
• Provide operational oversight for ancillary programs, including DEXA Services, Clinical Research Operations, Diabetes Technology Programs, CGM Programs, and Insulin Pump Programs.
