Zipliens is seeking an experienced professional to lead medical lien resolution and negotiation efforts in the United States. The role covers Medicare/MSP, Medicaid, ERISA/self-funded plans, and hospital/provider liens, with end-to-end file management from intake to final resolution.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in medical lien resolution or subrogation.
• Hands-on experience across multiple lien types (Medicare/MSP, Medicaid, ERISA/self-funded, hospital and provider liens).
• Knowledge of Medicare Secondary Payer Act, ERISA language, and state lien statutes and reduction doctrines.

Responsibilities

• Own a caseload of single event medical lien files from intake to final resolution across lien types.
• Set negotiation strategy and settlement targets; approve terms within authority limits.
• Analyze lien details and supporting documents to identify strongest path to reduction.
• Negotiate lien reductions with providers, insurers, and government payers; handle disputes and waivers as applicable.
• Communicate with customers from intake through resolution to explain strategy and outcomes.
