Job summary

Zipliens is seeking a senior Lien Resolution Strategist to own a caseload of Single Event medical lien files from intake to final resolution.

You will set negotiation strategy, resolve complex liens across Medicare, Medicaid, ERISA, and provider claims, and work with account management to deliver high-touch customer experiences. This role requires senior expertise and a customer-first mindset.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in medical lien resolution or subrogation.
• Experience across multiple lien types including Medicare/MSP, Medicaid, ERISA/self-funded plans, and hospital/provider liens.
• Strong knowledge of lien rules (Medicare Secondary Payer Act, ERISA, state statutes).

Responsibilities

• Own a caseload of Single Event medical lien files from intake through final resolution.
• Set negotiation strategy and settlement targets; obtain leadership review when needed.
• Approve settlement terms within defined authority.
• Analyze lien details and supporting docs to find the strongest path to reduction.
• Negotiate lien reductions with providers, insurers, and government payers.
• Communicate with customers from intake to resolution with clear strategy guidance.
• Ensure quality and accuracy of each file throughout its lifecycle.
