AdventHealth Davenport in Florida is seeking a skilled MLS/Medical Laboratory Technician to join our laboratory team. You will provide orientation, training, and guidance to staff, perform high-complexity testing, and ensure quality control under CLIA standards.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, maintaining equipment, and reporting results accurately. A bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience are required, with strong communication in English and proficiency in MS Office.

• 2+ years of technical experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide orientation and training to new employees and students.
• Guide technical staff and resolve customer service issues.
• Follow safety policies including PPE and handwashing.
• Participate in performance improvement activities.
• Manage quality control and equipment maintenance.
• Perform pre-analytical activities for laboratory testing and ensure calibration.
• Read and interpret complex test results and report findings.
• Lead QA/QC testing and troubleshooting of instruments.
