Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist II in Evansville, IN. The role entails performing moderate to high complexity testing with independent judgment from a comprehensive SOP framework, using a variety of instruments and systems.

You will support quality control, troubleshoot complex problems, and ensure accurate data reporting to clinicians. The position includes a Monday–Friday schedule (6:00 AM–2:00 PM) with rotational weekend coverage and eligibility for

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year full-time experience or training in a clinical laboratory with high complexity testing.
• Education credentials include a BS/BA in Medical Technology, Chemistry, or Biology, or an equivalent qualify.
• ASCP certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform tests of moderate/high complexity with independence.
• Troubleshoot instruments and procedures; support quality control and process improvements.
• Enter results into the Laboratory Information System and report to physicians.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and compliance with CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA requirements.
• Assist with training of staff and participate in inspections as needed.
