Job summary
Quest Diagnostics Inc. in Evansville, IN seeks a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) for Monday–Friday nights, 10:00 PM–6:30 AM with rotational weekends. Salary is $28.00+ per hour with 10% or 15% shift differential depending on hours worked.
Ideal candidates have a BS in Medical Technology or related field and 1 year of clinical laboratory experience; multiple MLS roles are available with comprehensive benefits and training. Fortune 500 company offering growth and performance bonuses.
Qualifications
- BS in Medical Technology or related field required/preferred.
- Relevant clinical experience preferred (1 year).
- MLS/Medical Laboratory Scientist titles may apply.
Responsibilities
- Follow procedures for specimen handling and processing, testing, reporting, and records.
- Maintain proficiency testing records.
- Analyze specimens using approved procedures.
- Review and release test results.
- Follow CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA and safety guidelines.
- Identify problems affecting test performance and report to supervisor.
