North Shore Medical Center, Inc. is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist, Senior I, for night shifts at 81 Highland Avenue. You will supervise workstations, oversee QC, training, and inventory, and ensure accurate test results under CLIA guidelines.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Clinical Laboratory Sciences or equivalent, ASCP certification, and 3–5 years of lab experience. Competitive benefits, shift differential, and a $10,000 sign-on bonus are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Clinical Laboratory Sciences, Medical Technology, or Laboratory Sciences.
• ASCP certification required (MLT/MT/MLA/Histology) per board certification.
• 3–5 years of laboratory experience required.

Responsabilités

• Handle specimen processing, test performance, and reporting per CLIA standards.
• Maintain quality control records and proficiency testing samples.
• Identify and correct issues affecting test performance and report actions taken.
