The MLS II will perform waived and non-waived testing under CLIA regulations, ensuring accurate processing, testing, interpretation and reporting of results. The role includes supervising daily laboratory operations as delegated, quality control review, staff training, and competency assessment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree Medical Technology or Laboratory Sciences required.
• ASCP-BOC certification required.
• Lab experience 1-2 years required.
• Note: experience cannot replace the degree.

Responsibilities

• Perform waived and non-waived testing per SOPs.
• Ensure accurate specimen processing and result reporting.
• Maintain quality control and staff competency assessments.
• Oversee daily operations and testing personnel as delegated.
• Train new employees and participate in competency reviews.
• Adhere to CLIA and lab policies.
