Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist, Senior I, to perform specimen processing, run tests, and report results under CLIA guidelines. You will work independently with a professional level of knowledge and supervise assigned workstations after orientation.

This onsite role at 81 Highland Avenue offers 24 hours per week, night shifts with weekend differential, full benefits, and a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Laboratory Sciences, Medical Technology, or Laboratory Sciences required.
• 3–5 years of laboratory experience.
• Medical Technologist certification (ASCP) required.

Responsibilities

• Follow procedures for specimen handling, testing, reporting and record keeping.
• Maintain QC records and instrument calibrations.
• Identify and communicate issues affecting test performance.
• Ensure corrective actions are documented for test deviations.
• Supervise designated workstations after orientation.
• Perform tests as authorized by the laboratory director under CLIA.
