The candidate will perform pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical tasks, maintain equipment, and contribute to performance improvement initiatives within a patient‑focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a chemical, biological, clinical or medical laboratory science.
• 2+ years of technical laboratory experience.
• CLIA equivalency if field does not match.

Responsabilités

• Provides orientation and training to new employees and medical technology students, acting as a preceptor.
• Guides technical and support staff, resolves customer service issues within guidelines.
• Follows safety policies including PPE, handwashing, and hazardous chemical handling.
• Participates in laboratory and hospital performance improvement activities.
• Leads quality control and quality assurance testing.
• Performs pre-analytical activities and instrument maintenance.
• Performs analytical procedures and interprets complex test results.
• Performs post-analytical reporting and supports age groups.
