Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a chemical, biological, clinical or medical laboratory science or medical technology.
• 2+ years of clinical lab experience preferred.
• Must meet CLIA equivalency if field of study does not match.

Responsibilities

• Performs pre-analytical activities including equipment maintenance, function checks, inventory control, and specimen processing.
• Conducts post-analytical activities including reporting results and technical support.
• Completes tests and procedures accurately per SOPs.
• Participates in proficiency testing and adheres to regulatory policies.
• Mentors and may precept new staff and students.
