Job summary

PaxeraHealth is seeking a Senior Image Processing Engineer to work on medical imaging data classification algorithms and improve image processing methods. The role includes driving features, mentoring developers, and ensuring patient data privacy.

The ideal candidate should have over 5 years of experience in complex imaging systems, expertise in DICOM standards, and proficiency in C# or C++. Experience with Kubernetes and healthcare components is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in developing complex imaging systems or medical image diagnosis software.
• Strong knowledge of DICOM standards with 3+ years of DICOM development experience.
• Experience in C# and/or C++, and developing DICOM-based integrations using IHE XDS.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement scalable image processing solutions using DICOM standards.
• Mentor junior developers and drive entire features while ensuring patient data security.
• Design distributed systems, DNS cache, and data pipelines for healthcare applications.
