Job summary

Infinite Medical P.C. in Portland, ME seeks an Attending Physician to oversee primary medical care for residents in skilled nursing facilities. You will serve as the primary care provider with a dedicated NP/PA support, ensuring comprehensive patient care and adherence to standards.

This full-time role offers growth toward Medical Director leadership and collaboration across nursing, therapy, and specialty teams, with the potential to shape LTC clinical programs.

Qualifications

• Board-certified physician with primary care and LTC experience.
• Strong leadership and mentorship for NPs and PAs.
• Ability to lift 20 pounds and stand/walk up to 6–8 hours daily.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary care provider for residents in SNFs and manage medical care.
• Perform patient rounds and coordinate with NPs and PAs to assess and manage care.
• Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and oversee chronic condition management.
• Discuss treatment plans, prognosis, and advance care directives with residents and families.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and specialists to deliver comprehensive care.
