Job summary

Infinite Medical P.C. is seeking an Attending Physician in Portland, ME to oversee primary medical care for residents at our facilities. You will serve as the primary care provider, supported by a full-time NP or PA, collaborating to deliver high-quality patient care.

This role offers growth toward leadership positions such as Medical Director/Attending Physician, with opportunities to expand clinical and administrative responsibilities within the organization.

Qualifications

• Board-certified physician with primary care and LTC experience.
• Strong leadership and mentorship abilities to support NPs and PAs.
• Willingness to oversee and manage care in SNFs and LTC facilities.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary care provider for residents in SNFs.
• Perform patient rounds and collaborate with NPs and PAs.
• Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and manage chronic conditions.
• Discuss treatment plans, prognosis, and advance care planning with patients and families.
• Maintaining accurate medical records and ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and specialists for comprehensive care.
