Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Network MD to serve as an enterprise clinical leader in shaping and executing our approach to cost of care, quality, and member experience across the Central Region. You will adapt the network strategy to regional needs and partner with regional teams to drive performance and provider engagement.

This role requires MD/DO, current license, board certification, and several years in value-based care.

Qualifications

MD or DO licensed without encumbrances.
Board Certification with Maintenance of Certification in ABMS specialty.
5 years in managed care, value-based care, and quality.
3 years in value-based care and quality.
Ability to work effectively in a matrixed organization.
Ability to engage with physicians, vendors, community partners, administrative leaders, clinical leaders, and staff.
Ability to work virtually with occasional travel.

Responsibilities

Serve as primary clinical leader for relationships with Central Region healthcare providers.
Partner with Network, analytics and actuarial teams to evaluate cost, quality, and experience.
Shape strategy for engagement with providers, including expansion or contraction of relationships.
Take accountability for performance on cost, quality, and experience across lines of business.
Be part of the medical affairs network team leadership to improve provider performance.
Ensure timely execution of all deliverables in compliance with dates and regulations.
