Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Network MD to serve as an enterprise clinical leader shaping how we partner with providers in the Central Region. You will drive performance on cost of care, quality and member experience, adapting the corporate network strategy to regional needs and partnering with the regional team.

You will evaluate provider performance, determine partnerships, and lead clinical alignment to support member outcomes across Medicare, Medicaid and Commercial.

Qualifications

• MD or DO is required.
• Active and current medical license without encumbrances.
• Board Certification including Maintenance of Certification in a US board.
• 5 years work experience in managed care, value-based care, and quality.
• 3 years work experience in value-based care and quality; ability to work effectively in a highly matrixed organization.
• Ability to engage at all levels, including physicians, vendors, community partners, administrative leaders, clinical leaders, and staff.
• Ability to travel occasionally for in-person meetings.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary clinical leader for our relationships with healthcare providers in the Central Region, guiding senior clinical specialists.
• Partner with Network, analytics and actuarial teams to evaluate performance on total cost of care, quality and experience.
• Shape engagement strategy with providers, identifying expansions or contractions of relationships.
• Own performance of groups on cost, quality and experience, including MA Stars metrics.
• Be part of the leadership team of the medical affairs network team to improve provider performance across lines of business.
• Ensure timely execution of all deliverables in accordance with due dates and regulatory requirements.
