Job summary

CVS Health seeks a Senior Network MD to lead enterprise clinical partnerships with West Region providers, aligning network strategy with cost of care, quality, and member experience. You will collaborate with regional teams to shape provider arrangements and optimize care delivery.

You will operate in a highly matrixed environment, engage physicians and administrative leaders, and ensure timely delivery of deliverables while complying with federal and state requirements.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with active medical license without encumbrances.
• Board Certification including Maintenance of Certification in his/her surgical specialty.
• 5 years in managed care, value-based care, and quality.
• 3 years in value-based care and quality.
• Able to work effectively in a highly matrixed organization.
• Able to engage at all levels with physicians, vendors and leaders.
• Able to travel for in-person meetings when required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary clinical leader for relationships with West Region providers and guide senior clinical specialists.
• Partner with Network, analytics and actuarial teams to evaluate total cost of care, quality and experience.
• Strategically shape engagement with providers; decide where to expand or contract relationships.
• Own performance on cost, quality and experience, including MA Stars measures.
• Be part of the leadership team of the medical affairs network group to improve provider performance.
• Ensure timely execution of all deliverables in line with due dates and regulatory requirements.
