Job summary

CVS Health, with Aetna as a CVS Health company, seeks a Senior Network MD to lead clinical partnerships in the Central Region. You will guide provider relationships, influence network strategy, and drive value-based performance for members and plans.

Role requires MD/DO, active license, board certification, and 5+ years in managed care/quality. Occasional travel and matrixed collaboration are expected.

Qualifications

• MD or DO (medical degree) with active license.
• Board Certification including Maintenance of Certification in a medical specialty.
• Experience in managed care, value-based care and quality.
• Ability to operate in a highly matrixed organization and engage with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary clinical leader for relationships with Central Region healthcare providers.
• Collaborate with network, analytics and actuarial teams to evaluate total cost of care, quality and member experience.
• Shape engagement strategy with providers and determine where to expand or contract relationships.
• Be accountable for performance on cost, quality and experience across lines of business, including MA Stars.
• Contribute to leadership of the medical affairs network team to improve provider performance.
• Ensure timely execution of deliverables in line with regulatory requirements.
