Job summary

Heraeus Medevio in Minnesota is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead cross-functional development teams through initiation, planning, execution and delivery of complex medical device projects. You will drive schedules, budgets, risk management, and governance while coordinating with customers and internal stakeholders.

The role requires 8+ years of experience in regulated environments, PMP preferred, and the ability to travel between Fridley and White Bear Lake sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field required.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience.
• PMP certification strongly preferred.
• Expert level knowledge of PM tools, processes and best practices.
• Proven history building strong cross-functional teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact with diverse stakeholders including executives.
• Proven ability to deliver projects on scope, budget, and schedule.
• Extensive experience guiding risk assessment and mitigation.
• Strong knowledge of finance fundamentals related to projects.
• Expert level background in conflict resolution.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable leading through ambiguity.
• Willingness to travel between White Bear Lake and Fridley sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional development teams to initiate, plan, execute, control, and complete projects.
• Build aligned project plans and schedules for complex programs.
• Direct project activities to meet objectives, resources, skills, and timing.
• Identify and mitigate risks; provide clear visibility to leadership and customers.
• Develop and improve PM tools, systems, and processes with teams.
• Analyze project portfolios to inform tradeoffs and ROI assessments.
• Own project reporting and governance with internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead full project life cycle from initiation to deployment.
• Coach less experienced project managers.
