Job summary

Heraeus Medevio in Fridley, MN is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead cross-functional teams across medical device contract manufacturing and design projects. You will manage initiatives from initiation to deployment, collaborate with customers, and drive risk management to meet scope, budget, and timeline.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a related field, 8+ years of experience in regulated settings, and strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field is required.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience in highly regulated environments preferred.
• PMP certification strongly preferred.
• Expert level knowledge of project management tools and methodologies.
• Proven ability to build cross-functional teams and relationships.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact with diverse stakeholders including executives and customers.
• Proven track record delivering projects on scope, budget, and schedule.
• Experience guiding teams in risk assessment and mitigation.
• Strong knowledge of finance fundamentals related to projects.
• Travel between White Bear Lake and Fridley sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional leadership and customers to create an aligned overall project plan and schedule.
• Manage and direct project activities to meet objectives, with focus on resources and timing.
• Anticipate, assess, and mitigate project risks and provide visibility to leadership and customers.
• Complete resource planning/reporting to achieve deliverables.
• Develop and improve project management tools, systems, and processes.
• Conduct project portfolio scenario analysis to inform tradeoffs.
• Partner with Finance to support business case development and ROI assessments.
• Govern project reporting and communications at peer and executive levels.
• Drive full project life cycle from initiation to deployment.
• Communicate complex information to varied audiences.
• Support costing initiatives and collaborate on inputs to proposals.
• Coach and mentor less experienced project managers.
