Job summary

Verathon is seeking a Sr. Program Manager to join our UBU R&D team in Bothell, WA. This role drives new product development from concept through commercialization, with primary on-site work at the Bothell facility and leadership of cross-functional teams.

You will manage budgets, schedules, and resources, applying Verathon's NPD process and QMS to deliver programs that improve patient outcomes in diagnostic imaging technologies. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in engineering or technical field; Masters preferred.
• 8+ years leading technical product development using an NPD process.
• 3+ years leading cross-functional teams including engineering.
• Experience in regulated medical devices and NPD.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% including outside country.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage program execution - scope, schedule, cost.
• Core team leader for assigned NPD programs.
• Allocate resources and coordinate with functional managers.
• Define program scope, budget, and timelines with cross-functional teams.
• Establish master schedule and milestones.
• Coordinate OpEx, capital, and prototyping expenses with leadership.
• Identify and mitigate program risks proactively.
• Ensure alignment with customer experience and satisfaction.
• Provide regular status updates and progress toward goals.
• Apply Agile, Visual and Daily management, risk management and V&V.
• Mentor and coach less-experienced program managers.
• Interact with Exec Leadership, vendors, and contract manufacturers.
