Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering or technical field; Masters preferred.
• 8+ years leading technical product development using an NPD process.
• 3+ years leading cross-functional technical teams through product development.
• Experience navigating new product introductions in a regulated industry.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Collaborative leadership style with bias toward action.
• Ability to negotiate and influence multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strong problem-solving across complex technical issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage program execution: scope, schedule, costs.
• Core team leader for assigned NPD programs.
• Coordinate with managers to secure resources for the program.
• Define program scope, budget and timelines with Core team.
• Establish master schedule and milestones.
• Coordinate OpEx, capital and prototyping expenses with leadership.
• Identify and mitigate program risks.
• Communicate program status and progress to leadership.
• Implement new technologies for medical device designs.
• Participate in supplier agreements and cost-reduction activities.
• Mentor less experienced program managers.
• Interact with Executive Leadership, vendors, and contract manufacturers.
