Job summary

Verathon is seeking a Software Engineering Manager for our Visualization R&D Team located in Bothell, WA. You will lead a software group responsible for medical imaging software across devices, shaping architecture, verification, validation, and lifecycle management.

You will champion Gen AI integration, drive agile processes, mentor engineers, and partner with hardware and RA/QA to deliver quality products on schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent; Master’s preferred.
• 8+ years of software development experience, with 4+ years on bare metal and/or embedded RTOS systems.
• 2+ years of management experience leading software projects and teams.
• Experience with embedded platforms (MSP430, ARM Cortex A/M, x86/64, STM32).

Responsibilities

• Lead software development team of 6–10 individuals to deliver medical imaging applications.
• Innovate and implement agile development processes and manage outside development resources.
• Lead continuous improvement of processes for quicker time to market and product sustainment.
• Mentor engineers using situational leadership to grow skills and performance.
• Provide technical project management across the software lifecycle.
• Collaborate with hardware and RA/QA teams to ensure quality and compliance.
• Champion Gen AI adoption to enhance productivity and innovation.
