Symmetrio is seeking a Field Service Engineer II to support, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair critical medical equipment across the New York market. You will work on-site, diagnose complex issues, and serve as a trusted technical resource for healthcare providers.

The role emphasizes hands-on troubleshooting, independent field work, and building long-term relationships with hospitals and clinics. Travel to customer sites is required, with flexibility for non-standard hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Significant professional experience working with electronic and electromechanical systems.
• Experience using testing equipment for verification, checkout, and calibration of electronic equipment.
• Strong computer troubleshooting and debugging skills.

Responsabilités

• Perform on-site service, repair, maintenance, and installation of complex medical equipment and related technologies.
• Troubleshoot electronic, electromechanical, mechanical, hardware, software, PC, networking, and wireless networking issues.
• Serve as a primary technical and service contact for assigned customer accounts.
• Diagnose equipment failures and determine effective repair strategies designed to minimize customer downtime and overall time to resolution.
• Provide technical support to customers regarding the operation, maintenance, and performance of supported equipment.
• Provide phone and remote technical assistance to customers and other Field Service Engineers as needed.
