Job summary

Symmetrio, a growing medical technology service organization, seeks a Field Service Engineer II to support, troubleshoot, repair, and install complex medical equipment at customer sites and in-house lab environments. You will diagnose electronic, electromechanical, and software-related issues, maintain records, and travel domestically and internationally as needed.

The role emphasizes hands-on problem solving, independent field work, customer interaction, and advancing technical knowledge

Qualifications

• Significant experience with electronic and electromechanical systems.
• Experience using testing and diagnostic equipment for verification, checkout, and calibration.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English; ability to interact with customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site and in-house service, repair, maintenance, and installation of complex medical equipment and related technologies.
• Troubleshoot electronic, electromechanical, mechanical, hardware, software, PC, networking, and wireless networking issues.
• Serve as a primary technical contact for assigned customer accounts and build trusted relationships.
• Diagnose equipment and system failures and determine cost-effective repair strategies to minimize downtime.
• Maintain detailed service records and current technical documentation.
• Accurately document customer and service activity through Salesforce and other systems.
