Job summary

Mercyhealth seeks a Coding & Charge Capture Supervisor to lead the Coding Department, ensuring accuracy, regulatory compliance, and timely claim submission. You will coordinate audits, guide partners, and optimize revenue-cycle workflows across departments.

The role requires a CPC or equivalent certification, 3+ years supervisory experience, and strong collaboration across clinical and IT teams. Day shift, 40 hours weekly, Illinois-based facility.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Associates degree in a directly related field or at least 8 years' experience in provider coding or billing required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and monitor workload to meet goals.
• Coordinate coding and quality audits to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Manage daily charge capture and ensure timely claim submission.
• Train and develop staff; manage performance and hiring.
• Liaise between Coding and Information Systems to implement updates.
