Serco is hiring Medical Coding Auditing Specialists to support the Defense Health Agency’s Medical Coding Program Branch (DHA-MCPB). The role includes auditing MTFs and dental clinics, developing annual audit plans, and performing targeted coding reviews across CONUS and potentially outside the United States.

Candidates must have strong ICD-CM/CPT/HCPCS knowledge, DRG/PPS experience, and comprehensive understanding of government reimbursement rules.

Qualifications

• Formal education or equivalent in health information management or coding.
• Experience with medical coding in multiple specialties.
• Strong understanding of coding and auditing standards.
• Familiarity with government reimbursement guidelines.

Responsabilités

• Perform audits for DHA Markets' MTFs and Dental clinics.
• Support annual audit work plans and risk assessment.
• Conduct targeted coding or documentation audits as directed.
• Assist with government surveillance audits and reporting.
