UPMC is hiring a Medical Assistant Senior to support Greenville Medical Center. This outpatient role involves rooming patients, taking histories and vitals, and assisting with exams and procedures.

You will help coordinate patient flow, manage documentation, and perform injections within scope. The position offers a daylight schedule (7:45 AM–5:00 PM range) with no evenings, weekends, or holidays, and includes on-site parking.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of Medical Assistant Program or equivalent hospital program.
• Or successful completion of certification examination (AMT, AAMA, NAHP, NCCT, or NHA).
• Or at least 1 year of patient care experience.

Aufgaben

• Room patients and obtain vital signs and medical histories.
• Assist providers with examinations and procedures.
• Coordinate patient flow and manage clinical documentation.
• Administer injections and perform phlebotomy and EKGs as needed.
• Maintain infection control and HIPAA compliance; mentor staff.
