Qualifikationen

• Five years medical assistant experience with highly complex, chronic disease management or in a specialty discipline.
• Sufficient proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English to perform essential functions safely and effectively.
• Ability to communicate with patients, physicians, families and coworkers with a customer-service mindset.

Aufgaben

• Assist with patient examinations, procedures, diagnostic studies, treatments and dressing changes.
• Schedule patient appointments and verify eligibility for care when needed.
• Preceptor and clinical resource to Medical Assistants; train and orient staff as appropriate.
• Maintain compliance with CLIA, HIPAA, NCQA and government standards.
