Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant partner to support a busy ambulatory practice. You will coach MA staff, coordinate scheduling, and ensure smooth daily operations while delivering patient-centered care.

You will greet patients, collect information, assist with examinations and tests, and help maintain accurate EMR records. Strong teamwork and communication are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Certificate 1 Medical Assistant Certificate required.
• 3-5 years related work experience required.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Experience with computer systems including web based applications and some Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access).

Responsibilities

• Serve as a coach and mentor; lead small projects and assist Practice Manager.
• Act as first point of contact for the practice and manage staff schedules and OSHA compliance.
• Greet patients, collect information, and communicate with providers and staff.
• Obtain vitals, perform basic clinical tasks, and assist with specimens and testing.
• Assist with procuring and organizing patient records and EMR entries.
