Job summary

Conviva Senior Primary Care, part of Humana’s CenterWell family, seeks a Medical Assistant to be the first point of contact for patient care. You will perform clinical duties, obtain vitals, administer vaccines as certified, and maintain exam rooms while coordinating with physicians.

The role supports semi-routine to advanced administrative tasks, reporting to senior staff, with a schedule of 40 hours, M-F, 8a-5p. Prior MA experience is valued, along with knowledge of value-based care concepts.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an MA training program or be a certified/registered MA.
• CPR certification required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred; proficiency may be tested.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within certification scope as available.
• Obtain vital signs, discuss symptoms, and document information in EMR.
• Support administrative duties and coordinate with Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers.
