Job summary

Conviva Senior Primary Care, part of CenterWell and Humana, is hiring a Medical Assistant to be the first contact for patient care. Onsite role supporting clinicians, performing clinical and administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth patient flow.

You will take vital signs, discuss symptoms, assist with vaccines and medications, perform phlebotomy, document in EMR, and collaborate with physicians and advanced practice providers.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of MA school/training program or a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant or 5+ years of experience and approval from Provider
• High school diploma or equivalent
• CPR Certified

Responsibilities

• Discuss symptoms with patients and obtain vital signs
• Administer medications and vaccines as allowed by certification
• Perform phlebotomy, collect specimens and conduct basic diagnostic tests
• Sterilize and clean equipment; maintain examination rooms; document in EMR
• Collaborate with Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers
