Job summary

Conviva Senior Primary Care, part of Humana’s CenterWell network, seeks a Medical Assistant 2 to be the first point of contact for patient care and to handle essential administrative duties.

You will perform clinical tasks such as discussing symptoms, obtaining vital signs, phlebotomy, vaccine administration, specimen collection and EMR documentation, while collaborating with Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers.

Qualifications

• MA education or certification or 5+ years experience with provider approval.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR certification.
• TB screening participation as part of role.

Responsibilities

• Discuss symptoms and obtain vital signs.
• Perform phlebotomy and collect specimens.
• Administer medications/vaccines and document in EMR.
• Sterilize equipment and maintain examination rooms.
• Collaborate with Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers.
• Adhere to department policies with some discretion.
