Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, CCMA, or equivalent) required.
• Current BLS certification for healthcare providers preferred or within 60 days of hire.
• Minimum of 3 years of Medical Assistant experience in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Accurately obtain, record, and document vitals in the EMR following protocols.
• Perform MA duties including injections, immunizations, and other procedures.
• Clinical inbox management for provider and pod; respond to patient inquiries.
• Lead quality control activities, chart audits, and OSHA compliance tasks.
• Act as a clinical mentor/preceptor for new hires and provide ongoing training.
• Cross-train to support Front Office and Lab and float as needed.
