Catalyst Physician Group is seeking a Medical Assistant I at our Allen, TX location. The entry-level role focuses on developing foundational clinical and administrative skills while supporting patient care under supervision.

The position emphasizes rooming patients, recording vitals, documenting in the EMR, and assisting with routine clinical duties within a collaborative care team. A CMA/RMA/CCMA or equivalent certification is preferred or obtainable within 6 months of hire.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA, or equivalent) preferred or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Current BLS certification for healthcare providers preferred or within 60 days of hire.

Mansioni

• Room patients, record vitals, and document in the EMR.
• Prepare exam rooms with required equipment and supplies.
• Assist providers with basic examinations and procedures.
• Maintain exam room cleanliness and report low stock levels.
• Follow infection control and safety protocols.
• Support appointment scheduling, patient check-in, and chart management.
• Perform basic clerical tasks such as filing and scanning.
