CATALYST PHYSICIAN GROUP - NTX PLLC seeks a Medical Assistant II to support clinicians with mid-level responsibilities and enhanced independence. The role emphasizes EMR documentation, patient rooming, vitals, and basic procedures to ensure high-quality patient experiences.

The MA II will assist in complex workflows, mentor staff, and contribute to value-based care initiatives while adhering to HIPAA and safety standards.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completed accredited Medical Assistant program.
• CMA/RMA/CCMA or equivalent certification required or within 60 days.
• Current BLS certification preferred or within 60 days of hire.
• Minimum 1 year healthcare experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Room patients, record vitals and notes in the EMR.
• Perform standard and specialized procedures and tests.
• Administer vaccines and manage medications as directed.
• Follow HIPAA, infection control, and safety policies.
• Support care coordination and referrals.
• Cross-train to other departments and mentor staff.
• Lead for compliance/inventory in pods.
