Logistics Health Incorporated (LHI), part of the Optum family, seeks a Medical Assistant to deliver patient-centered care in a clinical setting. You will perform vital signs, specimen collection, and basic diagnostic tests while maintaining HIPAA compliance and high standards of cleanliness.

This on-site Pittsburgh role requires strong organization, EMR proficiency, and teamwork. The position involves scheduling, data entry, and collaboration with providers to ensure quality care.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Medical Assisting or equivalent program.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential required or eligible.
• Phlebotomy certification when state requires or applicable to role.
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Must pass National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI).
• Willingness to complete CAOCH and Drug Testing Collection Certifications.

Responsabilités

• Provide patient-facing medical assisting within clinical settings.
• Perform vital signs, specimen collection, and basic diagnostic tests.
• Operate EMR and MS Office Suite; assist with front/back-office duties.
• Schedule appointments, manage referrals, and process documentation.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and infection control per policy.
