Job summary

You will collaborate with providers and multidisciplinary teams to streamline workflows and uphold safety standards. You will develop and mentor staff, participate in quality improvement, and implement process improvements to strengthen clinical outcomes and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and vocational/technical training in a designated technical area.
• 5-7 years of experience in a healthcare, clinical setting, or a relevant area.
• All experience must be paid and in the same related field.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Volunteer work and internships for academic credit are not counted.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates daily clinical operations and ensures patient flow efficiency.
• Prepares patients for examination, obtains vital signs, and documents medical information accurately.
• Administers medications and performs clinical procedures within scope of certification.
• Assists providers during examinations and minor procedures.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to support care coordination.
• Trains, mentors, and provides feedback to medical assistant staff to promote competency and teamwork.
• Monitors supply levels and equipment functionality to support operational readiness.
• Participates in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Ensures compliance with infection control, safety, and confidentiality standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
