Nava, a consultancy and public benefit corporation, is seeking a Policy Strategist to help us improve how government programs operate by turning policy into actionable decisions for an integrated eligibility platform.

You will work with product, design, and engineering teams to translate Medicaid policy into system behavior, notices, and case management, delivering practical recommendations that enhance user experiences and program outcomes.

Competenze

• 3+ years of policy analysis experience.
• Experience researching and interpreting policy from statutes or guidance.
• Self-directed with minimal supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in policy contexts.
• Experience with Medicaid eligibility and enrollment policy.
• Experience with agile delivery and human-centered design.

• Interpret policy and improve program processes or technology.
• Identify policy questions, propose an approach, and make progress when the work is not fully defined.
• Policy translation & implementation.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to translate policy into system behavior, workflows, and user experiences.
• Identify regulatory constraints, risks, and ambiguities and propose compliant solutions.
• Policy briefs, decision frameworks, and process flows to support decision-making.
• Support testing and validation of policy implementation.
• Conduct landscape and cross-jurisdictional research to monitor evolving policies.
