Job summary

Mercer’s Government Human Services Consulting team is seeking a Sr. Government Health Actuary to help transform Medicaid programs for state agencies. You will work on actuarial analyses, pricing models, and strategy with a focus on delivering insights to clients.

The role requires 5+ years in health actuarial work, including 3+ years in Medicaid leadership, and a BA/BS. You will engage with clients, mentor junior staff, and contribute to innovative, AI-enabled solutions within a collaborative

Qualifications

BA/BS degree required.
5+ years health actuarial experience including 3+ years Medicaid leadership actuarial experience.
Ability to manage client relationships in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Participate in routine client engagements and manage service delivery and strategy.
Draft and review client reports and presentations to summarize findings and implications.
Lead analyses and price modeling; review junior staff work for actuarial soundness.
Interact with clients and guide junior staff in communications.
Support business development by identifying growth opportunities and responding to information requests.
