Job summary

MSL in New York seeks a Senior Account Supervisor, Media Strategy to lead media strategy development and media relations for Consumer Brands. You will drive creative storytelling and guide teams to deliver impactful campaigns, reporting to the SVP of Media Strategy.

The role requires a strong track record in PR, excellent writing, and ability to move projects quickly while collaborating with senior leadership.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Public Relations, Communications or related discipline.
• 7–9 years of Public Relations experience in consumer practice of an agency.
• Creative thinker with pulse on culture; brings forward-looking ideas.
• Flexibility to tackle different tasks and pivot as needed by client/team.
• Excellent writing skills; strong attention to detail and organization.
• Strong verbal communication, poise and professionalism.
• Knowledge of media tools such as Cision, Muck Rack.

Responsibilities

• Lead media strategy development for Consumer Brands accounts.
• Pitch media and secure coverage; lead media analysis and competitive snapshots.
• Guide junior team members in writing materials (pitch letters, press releases, briefing books).
• Develop targeted media lists and build editor/producer relationships across consumer verticals.
