Dow Jones in NYC is seeking a Senior Media Sales Planner to join the Sales Planning team. You will help deliver advertising campaigns across digital, print, and events while ensuring pricing integrity and strategic plan delivery.

The role emphasizes analytical thinking, collaboration, and organization in a fast-paced environment. You'll work with cross-functional teams and contribute to training and onboarding initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in online advertising operations or planning.
• Experience with GAM or Operative ad serving systems.
• Strong analytical, collaborative, and organized work style.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as resource in governance for the vertical planning team.
• Assist team with complicated client requests.
• Support planning team during media plan development.
• Identify resource challenges with planning manager/director.
• Assist onboarding and ongoing training of associate planners.
• Solid understanding of Dow Jones product offering and capabilities.
• Troubleshoot viewability, fraud, discrepancies and more.
• Provide proposal ideas and inventory solutions with pricing integrity.
• Produce sales proposals in OMS leveraging yield tools.
• Reserve campaigns in OMS after deal approval.
• Coordinate with sales and ad ops to launch campaigns and optimize.
• Use historical data to support strategic decisions for new programs.
