Job summary

WPP Media in San Francisco is seeking a Senior Associate, Planning to help develop media strategies and plans. You will manage daily tasks, analyze data to support insights, and deliver recommendations aligned with client goals.

You will train Associates, monitor plans for accuracy, and collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure timely, high-quality delivery while upholding the highest standards of integrity and client service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Media/Communications or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 1+ year of related media planning experience.
• Strong understanding of media fundamentals, including media math, reach and frequency.
• Proficiency with systems/tools.
• Strong quantitative skills and analytical ability.
• Ability to work in a team, handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Business-minded, detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Digitally savvy with MS Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Manager in developing communication plan options and recommendations.
• Gather and analyze data to provide media recommendations.
• Deliver POVs/position papers on client issues or opportunities.
• Ensure proper execution of communication plans and budget control.
• Prepare media authorizations per approved plans.
• Train and develop Associates and review their work.
• Maintain strong working relationships across teams and partners.
• Provide timely and accurate delivery of all work.
