Job summary

CACI International Inc. is seeking an experienced MECM Engineering Lead to guide enterprise MECM engineering across a nationwide federal modernization program.

You will lead deployments, patch strategies, OS imaging, and automation efforts, mentoring a team of engineers while coordinating with cybersecurity and program leadership to align endpoint management with DoJ/USMS requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3–5+ years of MECM/SCCM architecture, engineering, or administration experience.
• Strong OS deployment, driver management, and configuration baselines knowledge.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation (PowerShell, batch, or similar).
• Strong understanding of endpoint security, compliance, patching, and UEM concepts.
• Demonstrated leadership experience guiding technical teams.
• Experience in federal, regulated, or secure IT environments.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance (TS preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead admin, engineering, and optimization of the enterprise MECM environment.
• Manage deployments, patches, OS updates, and configurations for thousands of endpoints.
• Build and maintain task sequences, collections, and deployment configs.
• Oversee OS imaging, driver packages, hardware validation, refresh cycles.
• Troubleshoot deployment, client health, and MECM issues.
• Monitor MECM performance, security posture, and compliance across districts.
• Implement best practices for routine, emergency, and zero-day patching.
• Deploy, test, and validate applications for compatibility and security.
• Coordinate enterprise patching cycles to meet timelines and security requirements.
• Develop PowerShell automation to streamline tasks and reporting.
• Lead and mentor a team of MECM engineers and admins.
• Partner with cybersecurity, ITSM, service desk, and leadership to align with requirements.
• Support UEM strategy and continuous improvement initiatives.
