Job summary

Amazon in Houston, TX is hiring a Senior Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to lead service technicians in installing and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment.

You will mentor technicians, design solutions for complex problems, and manage projects within the Operations Maintenance team. The role requires hands-on experience with MHE, robotics, and electrical controls, with substantial physical duties. Shift assignments vary by operations need.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years maintenance on MHE and automated systems.
• 4+ years repairing MHE or conveyors.
• 4+ years reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
• 4+ years electrical and electronic principles knowledge.
• 4+ years demonstrated safety standards experience.
• 1+ years experience with Microsoft Office products.
• Flexible schedule including weekends/nights/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and oversee MHE and facility equipment, including FLS systems.
• Lead a team of service technicians and coordinate vendor repairs.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, sensors.
• Create and close work orders with labor hours, parts, and plans.
• Perform lifting up to 49 lbs and climb ladders or gangways safely.
