Job summary

Amazon in Memphis is seeking a Senior Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to lead technicians in installing and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment. You will mentor staff, design solutions for complex problems, and manage projects within the Operations Maintenance team.

The role requires extensive experience with MHE, PLCs, and robotics, with strong leadership and safety standards. Expect a hands-on role with long shifts and the need to travel between facilities as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 4+ years of maintenance experience on material handling equipment (MHE).
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and oversee MHE and facility equipment, including Fire Life Safety systems.
• Lead a team of service technicians and oversee vendors for repairs.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, sensors, and control components.
• Create and close work orders with labor, parts, and asset data; develop emergency repair plans.
• Move up to 49 lbs, stand for shifts up to 12 hours, climb ladders, and perform bending and lifting.
