Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Senior Mechatronics and Robotics Technician to support the maintenance and operation of critical building systems at a client facility in California.

The role leads shift operations, troubleshoots complex mechanical, electrical, and automated systems, and mentors other technicians to uphold safety and uptime. You will collaborate with automation support teams, ensure safety standards, and manage CMMS work orders while promoting a safe, efficient and compliant work

Qualifications

• Requires work authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 4+ years of experience with automated conveyors and controls.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with MHE safety standards per OEM and safety rules.
• Knowledge of electrical and electronic principles and NEC.
• Ability to perform preventative and procedure-based maintenance.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Experience with PLC programs.
• 3+ years of work order management.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following safety procedures.
• Repair, maintain, and improve functionality of materials handling equipment and robotic systems.
• Lead and audit preventive maintenance procedures.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, and control components.
• Lead and mentor work plans for emergency repairs and training for technicians.
• Create and close out work orders in CMMS.
• Foster positive relationships with the client and operations team.
• Perform other duties as needed.
